Dear Friends and Family,
I will be leaving tomorrow morning so don't expect anything new until Saturday. As previously mentioned, I will be going to Atlanta to attend the Bon Jovi concert. I am very excited and cannot wait!! But don't worry, Mallory will be in good hands. She will be with her daddy and his family.
I will also post pictures from this event so be sure to check back in a couple of days!

Upcoming Mini Vacation
On Thursday morning I will be leaving with one of my BFF's to go to Atlanta. We will be attending a Bon Jovi concert. Krystial just told me that she has made reservations in a 4 star hotel so I am even more excited. The concert is Thursday night and on Friday we plan on going shopping.

Kristy and I took the girls to visit mom last month. On each trip to Ocala, we go to Chuck E. Cheese. Here are 3 matching girls waiting to go. All three were dressed in white shirts and navy blue cotton shorts that mom had bought them. It was coincidental that Kristy and I both packed them. All three love Chuck E. Cheese and they especially like to roam the play area. Mom does her best to follow each one and as she does she deposits tokens at anything they stop at. After being there for a while, Chuck E. Cheese himself came out. Mallory was scared to death of him and begged Grandma to hold her, which she did.

Here is the Thigpen clan getting ready to hunt Easter eggs. They had so much fun. We had a ton of eggs so each child was able to fill their basket. Mallory's basket quickly filled and as she ran to collect more eggs, others dropped from her basket. This happened twice and each time a cousin was nearby and observant enough to get the fallen eggs. She didn't even notice so I didn't say anything.

Our Weekend
On Saturday, Mallory of course awoke earlier than any other day. She instantly remembered that it was Saturday, our day for Jerry J's breakfast.
I got a chicken biscuit and she got a sausage platter. Her platter included two eggs, two sausage patties, grits, a biscuit, and a hash brown. She ate most of it and didn't want to share what was left. Sometimes I am amazed at how much we are alike.
After breakfast, we went to a local bakery. She picked out a gingerbread cookie and ate the whole thing by lunch.
After lunch Daniel came home and took her to her Nana and Pappy's house. She stayed the night and went to church with them.
I stayed home. I read and watched all my shows: er, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Samantha Who, and Lost.
Tomorrow is a holiday for me so I will be resting and relaxing again. I will probably go to the gym and watch a movie that Daniel brought home on Thursday.

A Healthier Diet
As most of you know, I do my best to adhere to a strict diet and exercise regime (except on Saturdays). Two people who have viewed my blog recommended the same thing. They both suggested that I add a fitness or other health related topic. Therefore, I did (on the bottom right). Tonight I highlighted some foods that we should avoid at ALL costs. For me personally, changing my diet was a lot harder than committing to an exercise routine. However, once I stuck to a diet, I instantly lost 10 more pounds. I guess that gives you an idea at how much sugar I was consuming. I wanted to start you off on a good foot, so I am encouraging you to modify your diet. Since starting the Biggest Loser diet, I have discovered that brown rice, fat free vanilla yogurt and reduced fat cheese is actually very good. I challenge you to try healthier food choices and find some that you really like. Sticking to a diet is easy once you find good low calorie food choices. I plan to also tell you how to appropriately structure your meals so keep reading.

Lesson Learned
Apparently when you change templates, you loose all of the page elements that you added. Basically, I am going to have to start over.

This Past Week
The highlights of this week are:
- I registered Mallory for Pre-K. She will be attending D.A.F.F.O.D.I.L. next school year. I am so excited because I will no longer have to pay child care.
- Mallory has adjusted well to sleeping alone in her own room.
- I started the Biggest Looser Diet on Sunday and have stayed with it. Saturday will be my cheat day.
- This week at work, I managed to keep one guy from being evicted from his apartment.
- Krystial and I are busy making Bon Jovi plans. The concert is next week. I am so excited.

Newest Page Element
Tonight I added a list of my recently read books. It's short because the last book took me forever. It wasn't very good but I felt compelled to complete it. I am running out of ideas for other page elements so I guess I will start to add some of my favorite pictures with captions.
